Education
I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with honors and am currently completing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Self-Control and Motivation.
Experience
I have 4 years of experience working as a university tutor conducting university tutorials, as well as several years of experience working as a private tutor. In addition to currently completed a doctoral degree in Psychology, I also have extensive experience and expertise in experimental design, and statistical analysis using SPSS. As an undergraduate student, my GPA was 6.5/7 and I received first-class honors in Psychology and was also the recipient of the University Medal. I take an interest in my students and have a genuine desire in seeing them learn and achieve their goals. While I enjoy teaching classes at university, I prefer the one-on-one interaction with genuinely motivated students afforded by private tutoring and will do everything I can to help them pass and excel, though this does not include doing the work for them. I particularly enjoy teaching statistics for psychology and due to the almost universal dislike for the topic, it's one that frequently requires additional study by students, as well as critical thinking skills for academics.
