Education
I earned a BA in Psychology (Learning, Development, and Motivation) in Japan, a bachelor's in Theology at Christ College in 2015, a Certificate in Language Teaching (High Distinction) from the University of Sydney in 2017, and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary: Maths and Japanese) at Macquarie University in 2019 with a GPA of 4.7/7. I also have a valid NSW teaching certification.
Experience
I enjoy helping students learn and my students often say that their lesson time seems to pass by quickly as they enjoy learning from me. I have over 10 years of teaching experience including 1-on-1 lessons, college coaching, in high schools, and at a Community Language School. I specialize in teaching Japanese and K-12 Mathematics, helping countless students reach their academic goals in both disciplines. In either case, I try to create a positive learning environment where students are comfortable making mistakes as part of the educational process.
