Education
In 2010, I completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) with a specialization in Civil Engineering First Class. I have also completed a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structural) from QUT.
Experience
I am currently working as a structural engineer but have also worked as a private tutor for high school students in math and physics for 12 years. I have experience conducting lectures and tutoring sessions for civil engineering, structural engineering, and mathematics subjects for 12 years. I like teaching because of the feeling of accomplishment I get when I see my students developing their knowledge and confidence. My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity: making complicated things simple. As Albert Einstein once said, "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on.
