Education

I graduated from Sydney Grammar School with a Higher School Certificate and an ATAR of 99.9. I achieved 96 in Physics, 97 in Extension 2 Maths, and 97 in Extension 1 Maths. I ranked 17th in the state in chemistry. I completed my Bachelor of Medical Studies Doctor of Medicine at the University of NSW. The Minister of Education awarded me the Australian Student Prize in 2013. In the same year, I received the HSC Higher Achiever award from the Australian Chinese Medical Association.

Experience

As a private tutor, I provide hard copies of my comprehensive chemistry and/or physics notes which I used throughout my high school career. In all, I have approximately 100 pages per subject. I created them myself during my high school years, and they were the main source of information that I used when I was studying. I have over seven years of experience as a chemistry and physics tutor for high school students. I also coach volleyball at Sydney Grammar School. In 2016, I was a Medical Society Peer Mentor at the UNSW. I coached badminton club for two years and have a current Working With Children Check.

Hi everyone! My name's Andrew Lam and I'm a 3rd year medical student from UNSW, Outside of my studies, I love my sport and I always try to stay fit and active. I play badminton socially with a club in Thornleigh, and I regularly play volleyball for the Division 1 Sydney Volleyball League.
